This is such a quick recipe, either for breakfast or lunch. It’s a great source of Vitamin D, prebiotics, healthy fats, carbohydrates, and protein. Basically a recipe full of right nutrients which give your body perfect energy boost.
Shakshuka – Eggs in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp harissa sauce
- 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- 4 eggs
- parmesan cheese or feta
- 1 tsp tamari sauce
- fresh parsley and marjoram
Pre-heat the oven on 175°C. Cut onion and fry on olive oil.
Then add harissa sauce and garlic.
Once it’s all golden, add tin of tomatoes, salt and pepper and tamari sauce.
Let it thicken up a little bit.
Then crack 4 eggs into the mix and put the pan into the oven and grill for 10-12 minutes.
Once it’s ready, garnish with fresh herbs. Served it with fresh veggies, halloumi, and toasted sourdough.

- 1 zluta cibule
- 2 strouzky cesneku
- 2 lzice olivoveho oleje
- 1/2 lzicky harissy
- 1 plechovka cherry rajcatek
- sul a pepr
- 4 vejce
- parmesan nebo feta syr
- 1 lzicka sojove (tamari) omacky
- cerstva petrzelka a majoranka
Troubu predehrejeme na 175°C.
Cibuli a cesnek oloupeme a nakrajime.
Na zapekaci panvi rozehrejeme olivovy olej.
Pridame nakrajenou cibuli. Na strednim ohni ji nechame zesklovatet.
Pridame harissu a cesnek a jeste par minut smazime.
Pridame cherry rajcatka a rozmackame je vareckou najemno. Dochutime soli, peprem a sojovou omackou.
Varime, dokud nevznikne husta omacka.
Do panve rozklepneme vejce, tak aby nebyla prilis tesne u sebe.
Panev vsuneme do trouby na stredni rost. Nechame zapect 10-12 minut, dokud se bilek nesrazi.
Nemichame.
Pridame parmesan a nebo fetu, posypeme cerstvou majorankou a petrzeli.
Podavame se zeleninkou, halloumi syrem a kvaskovym toustem (nebo jinym pecivem).
