As some of you may be aware, I am also a qualified Les Mills BodyBalance instructor. You may ask what is actually BodyBalance and how it can help my body. This blog post should explain it all for you.
Mental Health support
A year ago, I have decided to get qualified in BodyBalance (BB), as I just have fallen in love with the Les Mills program. I always thought that if I ever get an instructor qualification then it may be more in cardio or weights training, however BodyBalance it is, as by the end of the day my life values are about balance and moderation.
A mix of Tai Chi, Yoga & Pilates
The reason why I love the program so much is that it’s a mix of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates moves. It helped me so much when it comes to my mental health and it showed me how powerful my body is. It helps and supports your joints, strengthen the bone density, stretches the muscles, and will help you with your breathing technique.
Reduction in pain by 25%
Just to add, in a 7 year clinic trial researches found that yoga moves are both safe and effective in managing both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. After an 8-week of class, participants showed reduction in pain by 25%, along with the improvement in physical fitness and quality of life. (source: Science of Yoga)
If you want to try the class yourself then I am running Live Stream BodyBalance classes through Zoom. If you wish to participate then definitely check out my BodyBalance timetable.

I hope to see you on the mat soon and it would be my pleasure to see your BodyBalance journey.
And remember to always nourish your mind, body and soul. Exercise can be fun and can provide you with lots of benefits.
